Bandera Attraction

510 13th Street • Bandera, TX 78003 • (830) 796-3864
The dream to build a museum became reality for J. Martin Hunter Sr. a noted newspaper publicist (The New Bandera Era), author & journalist. Built during the deepest times of the great depression, the building of the museum was funded from the sale of a book titled "The Authentic History of Sam Bass". Thanks to numerous supporters and Hunters determination you can now experience the frontier days that defined many Texas towns. Saddle up and ride on over, you are sure to find your own piece of the Wild West.
