A  42 acre site where you will find numerous research display gardens, landscaped areas, and themed gardens. The Center is the only nonprofit research and educational organization committed to the preservation and re-organization of native plants in planned landscapes. You will enjoy museum quality exhibits and relaxing strolls in the many gardens. Through the Wildflower Center's website www.wildflower.org you can train to become a volunteer scientist who identifies non-native invasive plants in Texas (cool). Go on and check out the Invadors of Texas Program so you can say you are a scientist who identfies Texas invadors, how awesome does that sound.
What's Happening ~ Many events take place at the center throughout the year, so make sure you are in the know by checking out the events calendar on their website www.wildflower.org.
